That's right. I did a thing again. This time inspired by Handysockz and this particular piece

Best Laid plans is just another vignette into the 'moment in time' of some point in a pony's life. In this case, it more harkens back to how Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon first meet. I assure you, it's certainly not one they'll forget.
Now, technically I posted this story yesterday. But seeing how mods were busy doing other mod things, you may have noticed we've gone without new story updates for almost a full 18 hours. Whelp, story managed to grace the popular box do to apparently having the most views and posts. I guess. 5 likes, 35 views, mature filter on, of course. Still no less amusing!

That said, this story is one I felt I *had* to make. I can't say with honesty it's one I'll re-read (yes, I enjoy reading a few of my stories over again from time to time) but this one certainly had enough charm to really hammer out the kinks and expand upon it more than I originally intended it to be.
But why write this story? Because I love art. I love FiM and of course it's no secret we're often inspired by all those pony artists out there. For this story, that artist is none other then Handysocks. The same person who used to run (still does?) the Silver Spoon ask blog on tumblr. He makes very color themed and expressive works with ponies. Again, !GALLERY! Take a look!
They always seem to have this simplicity, yet a charm like no other.
The works range from loving and affectionate 
To moody and depressive moments I'm sure we all find ourselves in from time to time on various levels.
So I really wanted to just take this time to sort of sit down,
and really write something to express the appreciation I have for someone whose art I feel is a bit underappreciated.
And show a little something that we care, that I care, for taking the time and effort to make good, thoughtful, expressive pieces with some of my favorite MLP: FiM characters.
If you've enjoyed any of their art in the past, go ahead and give them a nice big HUG on their page. They deserve it.
Handsockz is one of my favorite artists in the MLP community. The style and color is excellent and, as you said, covers a variety of topics and emotions. Definitely deserves more attention. And on a somewhat related note, I liked your recent Diamond Tiara story a lot. It was cute and fun to read.
