My Second Life Update

Been a while, hasn't it?

So, you might or might not be aware of the fact that My Second Life is being put onto Fanfiction.net by DuNamarSundavar (here's his Fimfiction profile as well), and he is in fact already 135 chapters into posting an organized repost of the original story. When he finishes, he plans to start a continuation of the story, and I've said I'll help him if I can, though I doubt I'll be doing much other than maybe proofreading. I haven't read the story literally since Coal stopped writing it, but I'm planning on starting so I can help out.

I gave Sundavar permission to do this, so if you're angry about it yell at me, not him. Coal's not been online for more than half a year, and he let more than one person I know of write spin-offs of his story, so I imagine he'd be OK with this.

I don't think I have much else to say, so here's what Sundavar wanted you to know. Here's his blog post about this whole thing.

"Hello, everypony! I'm sure you have at some point heard of the excellent story My Second Life. An amazing story made by an out-of-commission, yet even more amazing author to whom we all owe our reading of the story, for without him, none of it would have been possible. Anyway, Great news to those who have read the story!

I have recently been collaborating with Extantdread, the appointed general manager of the story, so to speak, whose FIMFiction profile you can find right here, and whose FanFiction profile you can find right here, on what to do regarding the massive cliffhanger the story fell on. We have recently finished these negotiations (which is what I basically call talks) and have decided to continue the story where it previously left off!

With this, I will be working feverishly to complete the story on FanFiction, and once I am done, I will link the entire story to FIMFIction for reading, at which point I will begin the wok of the continuation project. Here is the schedule.

Currently: Chapter 124 posted
End of Tomorrow: Chapter 140-145 posted
End of Wednesday: Chapter 160-170 posted
End of Thursday: Original story finished
August 17th: Agreed-upon beginning of the My Second Life Continuation Project

In case I cannot fulfill my upper schedule, I have a backup schedule:

August 4th: Chapter 145 posted
August 6th: Chapter 160 posted
August 8th: Chapter 170 posted
August 11th: Original Story Finished
September 14th: Beginning of My Second Life Continuation Project
