Need Help with "Equestrian Tales"! (plus Playable Test!) · 8:41pm Jul 28th, 2015
I need help from someone with RPG Maker experience:
The Problem:
RPG Maker games will lag if there is a ton of images and/or events running at the same time. I have an event that calls up 26 images but then it immediately erases them from the screen. Yet, it still constantly lags even after a restart.
Hey, so I gave the demo out for a try and as soon as I cleared one room I started to experience lag. So yeah, that what you wanted to know. Also is there by any chance you can give the enemies HP bars so we can see how much health they have or is that impossible?

That is entirely possible^^
EDIT
And yes that's what I meant by lag
3277566 Great, I just hated how these type of game didn't have enemies health bar. Hope you're able to figure out how to fix the lag, though for me it wasn't that bad, it was completely playable. If I had more way to get health I would have cleared all them rooms.

Go to the stairs. Wink wink
3277905 Ohhh, while this should be fun.

Also will one of Pinkamena skill will be Party Cannon Blast, Balloon Pop, Cupcake Spicy Bomb

If you wanna keep on trying, then redownload via the link. I put out a newer test demo where that bug is fixed. Just copy over your save file to continue where you left off.
3278184 Ok.
I am kind of techie so I know a bit about programming. One possible trick for multiple object rendering is to sort of fuse objects together where possible. For example, if you frequently use pillars and they follow an overall similar pattern, try creating a single image that is a set of pillars rather than waste processing power to render all of the pillars separately. Use a picture editor and mark around the pillars and make the backdrop see through so it can be used even if other factors of the layout change like changed carpet or floor color.
