So, this site has a blog system, which I've been completely ignoring as of this point... Probably coulda answered a couple of questions with this instead... But live and learn.
ANYWAY, about my progress with the story, which I'm aware has been progressing slowly this year: I've developed a lot of it in my head, and I find that the longer I think it over, the better I can make it. I want to start it over, and in redo, the story up to at least chapter 6, because I need to implement more traits and patterns that build up into what the point of the story is. Where it stands (in my eyes), it doesn't explain much, and I want it to make sense.
On the bright side, by setting up the themes that I'm going to add later, I've progressed a lot more in the writing after Ch. 11. Don't have to believe that till you see it, but thought I would throw that out there.

That's the mark of a good growing writer. Going back over your work and seeing all the mistakes you made and deciding to fix them up for the better. Bit of advice, when you start your remakes, stick to it and don't stop or it's going to take a hell of a lot longer than you want.
