Well, today while recording a new song I discovered that my current audio card (non asio) had a record latency issue, and that would explain why I couldn't hit any of my marks perfectly, making it all much messier than it needed to be.
Which in turn means that my newest song 'Sunshine Wedding' has this issue all over it, which could explain why I was never really happy with it.
Considering reuploading/rerecording that song, but not sure how much difference it would make.
Either way, this newest song... currently named Littlepip, has been fixed, and sounds great, to me at least, so that should be done in a few days' time.
I've purchased the Aguilar 4x10 now, and am currently broke, but will now have to save up some money to buy new microphones.
I'm thinking Sennhesier e906 and a shure bass/kick mic of some kind. Maybe.
I was hoping to buy all the new squier VM's, even if they're cheap, they're pretty damn awesome, but I might have to hold it for a while.
Either way, if you like Jaguars, Jazzmasters and beaten to death mustangs, you might enjoy the new squiers.
Was going to stop buying cheap things (excluding Teisco's and other crazy vintages) but... damn I want those.
