This OC proves I love KILL la KILL too much, eh.

Satsuki was born on April 16th, during a massive dispute between Unicorns and Pegasi over the land which was once Ponyville. The earth ponies (more specifically the Apple Family) was forced to eviction by the cruel Nightmare Moon. But the resistance was no better. Satsuki grew up as a unicorn warrior fighting and killing pegasi using skills she learned from her parents, who were inspired to become greatly versed in the realm of magic due to their idolization of Twilight Sparkle and Starswirl the Bearded.
Satsuki was nicknamed ""Smile"" during the Slaughter of Sugarcube Corner, in which she went insane from having killed dozens of ponies at only the fresh age of ten, using hundreds of swords forged by her parents, who were becoming weaker in the battles. She wanted to protect her parents with everything she had. Every last bit of pride was given away to inherit a feeling of pure devotion and loyalty to her parents, but this drove her to insanity upon realization an entire regime of pegasi were out to kill specifically her.
They met her, alone, at the remains of Sugarcube Corner. Satsuki met her enemies with only a smile, and she began to endlessly slaughter the pegasi. At some point, she dropped her sword and was forced to strictly use magic to battle, and even at her young age, she was strong enough to skewer and push back the surviving pegasi, who spread stories and rumors about this young filly. They merely called her "Smile."

She wondered why her parents did not come with her that day, and she knew there had to be a reason why. Despite her victory, she was gravely injured in the battle, and was forced to remain at her post until more unicorns showed up to the battle. But none of them did.
It turns out that the very order her parents gave her was somewhat of a revenge. She happened to receive a magically transported message from her parents saying that they were proud of her and what she did, and to not worry, because ""Smile"" could easily protect herself now.
Satsuki knew not what this meant, but once the cold winters settled in, she knew that her parents and dozens of other unicorns had either been captured or killed.
She acquired the Alicorn Amulet at some point during her travels through the area of Equestria which was Ponyville, and ran into the Cutie Mark Crusaders, who were also Lone Wolfs like she was. She joined them and trained under them, though they were afraid of her obvious ferocity. Even training was like a real battle to her. And she seemed to hate it.
They wondered why she hadn't gotten her cutie mark yet, and at this point in time, they wondered if she ever would.

Satsuki eventually left the Crusaders by the time she was eighteen. And she knew of the ongoing war around her. She wanders the world in search for power and more magic, as she wishes to conquer all forms of magic and become stronger than Twilight Sparkle ever was. She wondered how a princess of friendship could let the world come to this. And she knew she may never even find out.

I really wouldn't take this OC too seriously. If I do put her in a story, it won't be for a long time.
