Welp, this is it. After 8 months of writing approximately 104k words, the first draft of Fractured Sunlight is done.
Of course, there's still a lot of work left to do. There's maybe a dozen scenes I need to go back and add, the ending probably needs to be redone, and it will have to go under the excruciating comb of an editor or two before it's actually ready for release, but hey. First draft is done. It feels good.
I've been teasing this story for quite awhile now, so should probably share something of what the general idea is here.

As for an ETA, it's hard to say. I plan to work on this hard over the next month or so, and it will depend on the schedules of my editors as well. One thing is certain, I need to release the fic before Friendship Games comes out in October and invalidates everything.
One fun fact to get hype: There is a custom sketch for every chapter of the fic, which comes out to 25 chapters. I went all out on this.
