Not dead, coming back and hello again!

So... let me begin with saying that I'm not dead. To those of you who still wish for me to write and update stories, I say thank you for still following me. Now, I have good and bad news.

Good news: I finally have found the motivation, energy and most importantly time to take up writing again!

    Would you look at that?

So, I suppose many would think I'm dead. Nope. I just finished editing all the chapters for my story "Hooves of ice". Hopefully, this improves reading quality and ensures that I feel like I can keep writing without worrying about past chapters.

    Kinda owe you lot.

So, to all you wonderful people following me, keeping an eye on me and lurking around enjoying my content. I've not been dishing out anything new for quite a while. Reasons? Well, the adequate content I dish out is a product of productivity born from inspiration, will and pure emotions. Lets just say not all of those things have been 100% for me for a long while. And no, I'm not going through

    How about it?

So. I have found it really hard to write anything lately and have decided to take my thought of trying to continue writing my stories for a while and write something new.

How would you people feel about a dark and evil Displaced story?

    Hiatus

Right. I hate to do this, but I think it's necessary, I'll be putting all my stories on hiatus until I can find it within myself to start writing on them again. It's not that I don't want to stop writing, it's just that I can't bring myself to doing it. I've tried forcing it and could only manage to write one single sentence before began hating myself for writing it and for forcing myself to do

I'm an author, not an editor... · 10:32pm Jul 18th, 2015

(Groan.)

So... what's wrong with him?

Um... I think it's that chapter... he's not too keen on editing it but it has to be done. And he has no one to hand it over to.

(Another groan.)

I see... He does realize he's not getting anywhere just lying in bed and sleeping the day away.

Most likely. He forced himself to do a lot of the editing while he could have been playing games instead, but he ended up in a really bad mood instead.

That's bad. But he does realize this most likely won't be the last time he will have to do edits like these?

(A loud groan.)

Most likely.

Great. Then I guess we'll just have to hope that the readers will be satisfied with the end result and he gets right back to writing like he used to after this.

Well... Actually, there's at least two more crossovers after that chapter.

(Sobbing.)

Ok, I think we're just making it worse. Guess our fourth wall breaking moment is over... Also, I'm sorry Jack, but I'll have to see to it that you don't remember any of this.

It's fine Cleaver, you already explained what consequences it could have for the story if I was constantly aware of all this.

And you, readers. We are terribly sorry for the wait. While it's true that the chapter Fictional Fanatic is currently editing could have been done a long time ago, he really isn't one to stress work. He's also lazy. But right now he's having his own share of reality, as he not to long ago turned 18, he now has a lot more responsibilities and other stuff to worry about. As you can guess, it can sometimes get rough.

But fear not dear readers. For with this update, we're here to inform that Fictional is actually right now trying to get back into his regular sleep schedule (It somehow changed by 3 hours.) And should be able to make more time now that he doesn't have to worry about the banks sending him additional fees for certain services he used and is now able to obtain for free.

Oh, and a quickly before we leave. I have apparently made a few appearances in some crossovers without any of them being referred to by Fictional. Don't worry. Those crossovers will be addressed when they appear in the actual timeline.

Wait, Cleaver. Should we not properly explain why it took Fictional so long even before all of this?

I guess? Fine. So, it's like this. Fictional Fanatic is first and foremost someone who enjoys reading. Second of all, he's an author. (At least on Fimfiction.net) Right now the actual next chapter is finished, it has been for a long time. But, there is a problem. The entire chapter was written in perspective of the other author's MC. Of course Fictional can't just copy-paste it, so he has to edit it into a chapter with 3rd and first person point of views of Jack and myself. Such an operation to him is dreadfully boring, while regular writing is something he enjoys. Simply put, Fictional Fanatic is an author, not an editor and now has to completely edit a 10 000 words special chapter... I don't envy him.

None the less, he is slowly making headway and actually finds the time to edit that chapter... Cleaver, I think he's asleep...

Good, he'll need it for tomorrow.

What do you mean?

You'll see... or actually you won't so never mind. But It's now time for us to return back to Equestria. Jack, if you could?

Sure.

Portal noises.

(Snores.)

I like this...

Timberwolves. I will never understand how they think, I mean, this was different, but not thaaat exciting...

Humans called Solveik 2.0 worshipping Blood Cleaver, I will never understand how they think. No, this means there is progress being made...

...do you actually care about the story the progress is being made in?

No, that is your job. Like it is your job to care about the author of the story.

I hate you.

I already knew that.

3249763 Wait, worshiping. Oh dear god. Please, don't tell me there'll be a cult dedicated to me next time I swing around that universe.

...

Right... Fictional is asleep and Jack is back in Equestria... Um... Bye!

(Door Slam.)

Good luck getting back onto your schedule. :rainbowkiss:

3249809 Nay, don't worry. Remember 2.0? He's the only one. Heck, I am not even in the same story as him!

But if you'd LIKE to see a cult, I am taking suggestions.

I'm quite sure at least one of the 633 people tracking the story is an available editor.

3252970 Not this kind of editing.

Eh, things happen. I am curious though, do you have a realistic ETA on the next chapter?

3254125 ETA... you mean how long it should be before I'm done? Being really hopeful, I'd say by the end of the month I'll be sending it of to my proofreaders. After that it could take a few days. So hopefully I'd say two weeks. Worst case scenario... (and I mean really worst case) I'd say another month.
