That's a question I've often wondered about since the first EqG movie. It's supposed to be a human-like world so how is it that Sunset Shimmer can even become a demon at the end and Human-Twilight stops her with a magic that isn't supposed to exist? But, then, I always spot plot holes and glaring oversights like that. Just call me too observant.
