    Missy at BronyCon THE MERCHANDISE

Next I absolutely want to talk about the merch. Not just because there was a lot, but because I really do think that this stuff needs to be better appreciated, given how much work goes into the art, plushies, et cetra. Of course these people make a butt-ton of money at these things, but I really do think people need to show off all the stuff they got and let people know just how much love went

Missy at BronyCon (the first blog) (yes there will be more shut up)

So this is a touch later than I had anticipated to write this. However, my life has been utterly consumed by a little thing called being busy as fuck. Since leaving Bronycon on Monday, I packed up my things from my old apartment, left my old job, moved into my new place, and started my new job. Needless to say, I haven't had time to sit down and write out a blog about Bronycon.

Bronycon Blog (coming soon... *insert Inception noise here*)

It's Monday. I have returned home, safe and sound, tired as hell, and with a lot to think about and say. BronyCon was fantastic, but I cannot put it into words right now. Probably because I'm going to spend the rest of the day resting. However, I will be writing a blog about my wonderful experience, including stuff like the merch I bought and the people I met and ran into. Since it was over four

If You're Gonna Work as Water Park Lifeguard · 2:29am Jul 11th, 2015

When you're the one watching the slides to make sure it's fine for the next person to go, actually wait until the person currently on the slide has gone all the way down.

Especially if one guy was a bit too big and had his kid with him, and he kept getting stuck every once in a while. Don't tell the kid in front of me to go even though the dude wasn't even all the way down. Cause the kid knew. I knew. The two kids behind me knew, cause we all got stuck behind the adult and his kid in a big, bumbling group on the slide about two thirds of the way down.

"Are you sure?" "Yes, just go!" Okay, stupid, but I hope you get in trouble!

I had to grab the little one in front of me and hold him upright or else he'd he drown from all the water jets.

All I could do by the time we finally got to the bottom was flip her off from all the way down. That and complain (mostly complaining. Lots of bitching).

Lesson of the day:

It's okay to make mistakes at work.

But don't be a fucking moron.

(also, yeah, no writing still... well a little... maybe... sorta kinda barely. Just, uh, thought I'd give a piece of advice. And rant. Because I've never seen something so stupid actually happen.)

Wow hope your job is fine and that kid is okay.

3228302 Oh, no, I don't work there. Just visited for a hot day. And everything was fine, thankfully. It was just stupid, you know?

Ugh, glad you're okay.

Though in hindsight, this might be the sort of thing you laugh about in a few months.

3229488 I was far more worried about the kids than myself, but thanks. ^_^

And oh, absolutely. Talk about a little story to tell.
