...is that, if this Hasbro update is actually correct, there's going to be a mid-season hiatus.

It was too good to be true.

I heard that they wanted the season finale to coincide with the five-year anniversary of G4 on October 10th. This would support that. Still not pleasant to hear.

EDIT: Wait... actually, the math doesn't pan out if the hiatus is longer than a week or two. Darn.

Do you think that they'll hiatus around the movie and then come back for the second half of the season after it's finished? That would be interesting if there was any continuity linking the movies to the show.

3226214 I don't know whether you've seen the leaked list of episode titles, but in case not I'll be vague here. My guess, though, is that they will indeed wait until October before resuming S5. I doubt there'll be any significant link to the film, though a little nod in its direction (like Flash Sentry's cameo in S4) certainly can't be ruled out.
