    Kept you waiting, huh?

Hello, everyone. (Or everypony. It's been a while since I've said that.)

Bet none of you expected to (ever) hear from me again. But I feel a little closure is necessary, whether you're still eagerly awaiting whatever is to come in this one story or not.

    Update

So, I had like 3 different chapters typed out and saved here.

    Now they're gone.

Don't worry, I'll get back to it once sight usage is no longer limited. (Every time I change a page, I get logged out.)

Update and Sneak Peek at project Peacekeeper · 12:41pm Jul 26th, 2012

Hey, guys!

My exams are (halfway) over, and I took the liberty to check back in.

But I haven't necessarily gone back to writing yet. Not because I don't have the time to, but because...
I'm losing motivation D:

Don't worry, incentive will come back eventually. In the meantime, I've been working on the sequel series to this one. But the problem is, as much as I want to continue it and publish it, I can't. I have to let the current series progress first. Otherwise, the sequel will be almost completely not understandable.

So here's a question for you guys: If I publish a series sequel to the sequel in process, will it clash? And is it actually good to work on two stories at once? I don't know if there's such a thing as separation of creative juices :p

Anyway, here's a little sneak peek for you guys. Not only can I not wait to release the full thing, but I enjoy messing with the minds of the small number of people that read these blogs :D

Enjoy!:

"We've still got a way to Winchester, man. Complaining ain't gonna help." Silver leaned on the stained wooden door of the run-down barn, surveying the rural landscapes that stretched on for miles under the stars.

"No worries, mates. I know these routes like the back of my hand." The born and bred British man fell back, lazily kicking up his feet as he flopped on a tattered sack of hay. He pulled his stetson over his face before waving everyone goodnight. "Now hit the hay, you two. We've got quite a walking distance ahead of us."

"Oh it sounds so simple to you, doesn't it, Big Shot?" The third member of the party hopped of his perch at the barn's broken window. "Y'know what? Maybe it is. Maybe it's because you guys've done a lot more missions than me, this being no exception." The sixteen year-old paced under the dim light of the only oil-lamp in the center of the barn, hanging by a thread. "Just another Portal Activation mission; Arrive by the gateway on the cliffs of Dover, head inland through the farmlands, avoid getting our asses kicked by the Paragons, and activate the portal at Stonehenge. Nothing to it, right?"

"Right." Silver and Big Shot replied in casual unison.

"Don't get your knickers in a bunch, Bruiser." Big Shot consoled with a muffled voice, "We've made it this far, what's to stop us now? And besides, we're well armed, well trained, and we've got something that Paragon has yet to get their grubby hands on: Magic!"

"That's not what I'm afraid of, Ben." The young Peacekeeper sank into a pile of hay opposite his senior, rubbing his gloved hands over his face. He then proceeded to undo his straps, delicately removing his sword-mace hybrid of a defense device and placed it by his side. He took a moment of silence to examine and compare his weapon to Ben's: a pair of golden guns with silver cylinders, made and enchanted with magic like his own. Bruiser indeed felt much safer knowing that they came prepared, but it failed to completely calm his nerves from the situation at hand.

With a sigh, the youngest of the group continued, "Remember what Conway said? Involving all Portal Activation missions? That-"

"'That in order to link the portal with the bridge, we require an external magical source. Something we have yet to acquire and is only present in Unicorns.' There's a unicorn involved in every PA mission, Kevin." Silver finished.

"I know that, Silveira, and-"

"And unwritten rule of PA missions: 'Never ever lose sight of the pony in your party'. Lad, we've been over the rules countless times." Ben added, swinging his hat around one finger.

"That's not the point!" The teenager sighed in exasperation. "Okay, maybe I am letting this 'newbie' thing get to me."

"Indeed you are, kid." Silver turned in, leaning his back on the doorframe.

"But Conway didn't say anything about when that pony you're escorting is especially important. He didn't say anything about escorting an Element of Harmony across the UK! We're not just working with a unicorn that has unified with the Peacekeepers, buta pony that not only effects the show, but one of the most powerful ponies of Equestria! All those rules and regulations apply, alright, but it's extra important..."

He pointed a finger at the hay bale at the very back of the barn, where the only female human member of the party was fast asleep next to a unicorn. A lavender unicorn with a lone strip of magenta that hung over her horn as she slept.

"...when that unicorn is Twilight Sparkle!"

(The extract above can be subject to change.)
Being a tease is fun?

I'm not going to answer any questions, but if you have an opinion and/or a prediction of the story line, I'd be glad to see what you guys think!

i dont think its a good idea to start working on a sequel of something that its still in progress, it will have to spoil some stuff of the previous one :derpytongue2::pinkiehappy:

I agree. Wrap up the prequel first, then post the sequel. Otherwise it just doesn't make sense.

weee i am mentioned in the story.....dammit y am i newbie....what evas carry on wif da sequel and remember the 3 big questions that need answering

Absolutely no, don't release any sequel until the current story isn't completely finished. Not only the sequel would be hard to understand, but you would probably mess up because you would have to work on 2 different things at once.

Gotcha. I'll work on the current series first. Thanks for the input! :pinkiehappy:
And I'm going to go ahead and assume that the above text made almost no sense for you guys, right? :rainbowlaugh:

253674 yep no sense at all:derpytongue2:

I don't know, I mean pokemon Black and White manga is still going on even despite the fact that the Platinum chapter still isn't done. Maybe it could work or maybe you'd go crazy?
