Excuse me for a minute...
*ahem* Okay then.
Well, thanks to everyone who has subbed and favorited. I'm truly honored to have people actually like my work. Hell, two of my favorite authors on this site, Cloudhammer and Guesswork, have both said they liked it. Wow... just... just wow.
Anywho, I wanted to let you know that this will NOT be abandoned! I HATE it when I find a great fic, only to see it's been dropped by the author. I mention this because I'm a Drill Sergeant, so personal time is a rare commodity for me. Updates my not be very regular, but I give you my word as a man, an author, and a Non-Commissioned Officer that I WILL be finishing this, hopefully before September. The next chapter is already written and awaiting a good beating from my prereaders. The following is in the writing process, which is code for me staring at a blank screen for a few hours telling myself I suck, then banging it out in 30 minutes. I will do my best to have an update once a week, if not a little more, but like I said, stupid Privates tend to eat up my time.
This will end up being around 15 or so chapters, and I already have plans for sequels. I will tell you right now, this is going to go places you're not expecting. I know at least one chapter where everyone will thing I've gone off the deep end. Just trust me. ;)
Once more, thank you all, from the bottom of my little Brony heart. It is truly humbling to know that people actually enjoy reading my shlock.
