Stories To Come · 1:20am Jul 4th, 2015
I've been thinking lately about my role as a writer here on Fimfiction lately. I've truly loved my time here; despite its ups and downs, the questionable things I have seen, I've loved it. But I think my time as a regular or semi-regular writer is almost up. I know how the rest of TOML is going to go, so I've had time to think of other stories.
They won't follow any continuity I've generated; already decided that they'll be their own. They also won't be regular updates, on account of the new artistry I've taken up (I'll be selling my works, probably on Easy, once I have enough pieces). I'll be writing them at school and on vacation mostly, but not when I'm home. Since I'm in college, though, that does mean that I'll be more in writing time, but I also have other things going for me now, particularly involving school, training, and other things. But onto what I'm thinking of;
I have two ideas; a story that has no end about a random human landing in Equestrian (HiE is my specialty, after all), or a story about a Police Strategic Response Unit (inspired by Flashpoint) in one or more Equestrian cities, also no set end, but no humans. I could also write both (probably going to end up doing that, honestly). I like these ideas because they don't have any set endings, so I'm never rushed, and each chapter will be long and like its own little story. Of course, I have no idea how the future will be, so I can't say for certain what will happen with what I end up writing, but I like these ideas and hope to pursue them.
So... opinions?
I like all of the stories i've read from you so far, and i'm thoroughly enjoy your writing so i'd be fine with whatever choice you make. I like both ideas, but if you could only choose one of them, I would go with the Flashpoint inspired story; that sounds the most interesting to me.
