It sounds better in my brain · 11:21pm Jul 2nd, 2015
Sometimes I think I should turn all the weird dreams I have into fanfics, but then I remember that people already think I'm crazy.
(A few examples: ponies being kidnapped by shadow people for weird experiments and studies. A totally separate one about an anthro Applejack getting an implant put in her brain. Had a not-too-unreasonable Crystal Gems one, but that doesn't apply here.)
[nerdy lecture voice] I believe you'll find that the Shadows mostly had lesser alien races like the Drakh do their dirty work for them... [/nerdy lecture voice]
(I know, I know -- hardly anyone appreciates a good Babylon 5 reference these days, but I still felt like I should say something.)
? ... I don't get it. I'll admit it I don't exactly have all my marbles in one bag at the moment either ... but I just don't get it.

I meant this kind of shadow person! You know, those sometimes-malevolent things you see out of the corner of your eye...?

What don't you get? Me having weird dreams, or the dreams themselves?
3201255 I think it was the picture reference, the rest I totally believe.

I dunno, I just thought a guy with a screaming horse head looked funny. A reverse centaur!
3201327 Oh, not related to the dream then ... comprehension achieved ... I think.
What is exactly stopping you about writing more Applejack? Consider that a blessing from your muse.

Heh, this kind of dream doesn't translate well into a fanfic that anyone else can understand. But I do have a few AJ ideas floating around in my head---just gotta finish Three Steps Back first, since one of them might be a sequel. I dunno yet.
At least you actually have pone dreams... The rest of us should be so lucky. I haven't dreamed of the technicolor wonders for two years.

My dreams are pretty contagious. If I binge on fimfic before bed, I tend to dream of that. Come to think of it, I probably shouldn't watch horror movies at night...
3203560 Ever lucid dreamed?

All the time. I almost never have a dream that isn't lucid.
