One Day at a Time... · 4:22am Jun 22nd, 2015
The last few weeks have been crazy. Work has been more than tiring as of late, a combination of the workload and blistering heat. And after her return from the hospital, I've spent the better part of the last few weeks helping my mom with her recovery. She's doing a lot better now that she's nearing the three week mark of her convalescence, but there's still a good ways to go. Thankfully she's able to do more and is even walking a good bit (around the house mostly). I admit I may have been a little more worried about how she was doing, but you only get one mom in life, and as I continue to sit back and look at myself, I see that I just tend to care about others and like to watch out for them.
I'm not sure when I'll get back to writing and editing my stories. I'm on the cusp of three weeks of major Overtime from work. While I've been averaging about 48-52 hours a week here as late, I could be looking at 56-60 hours a week till around the middle of July. Thank goodness I have vacation coming in beginning of August. I could really use one. lol
Well, I just wanted to give you all an update. I'm deeply saddened that I haven't had time to write or even really outline (not to mention read) as of late, but I'm sure the overtime won't last forever, and I'll be glad I did everything to help my mom recover. I've also been keeping a eye on my dad as well. We had a pretty good father's day.
I'm so glad you are all patient, understanding and supportive. When I get through all of this, I hope I can somehow write something as a thank you to all of you. Though I suspect you'd all just be happy to keep reading the stories I've been working on. Which makes me happy and smile.
I'm still glad to see Luna's story is doing well following the latest update. I'll keep you all posted when I'm able. This isn't hiatus, merely a delay. I will get things back on track, I just need to be patient.
In the meantime, I found a really epic picture of Luna to share with all of you. It's an image that one of my favorite pony artists has done...his name is PonyKillerX.
Take care, everyone!

All good things in time. I'm more than willing to wait.
I know exactly what you are going through with the heat my family's ac broke down last week and got it fixed thursday. I have also been helping my mom with her health problems. Like the saying goes "All good things to those who wait." So hang in there.
Keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers man.
Wow, that's some serious overtime. Take care of yourself and good on you for helping your mother through her recovery.
