Heyo! So I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on what's happened the past few weeks regarding HLW, because I feel like it should be said.
Okay, so in the first week of June, my trusty sidekick editor happy now? Jeez. lol. and I went through the first arc of the story to find what needed to be changed. HOLY SHIT did we find things to be improved. There are a massive knots that would have certainly fucked me and the story up way later down the line, which is why I'm rewriting it now when i have fewer chapters. I believe one chapter almost has to be rewritten entirely.
Anyways, I set all that stuff up to work on it later (because I just got the XCOM bundle and it's fucking fun as hell) during a long family vacation I just finished. I brought on the vacation a couple writing guide books to read, hoping they might help a bit and boy, did they ever.
I learned a lot about building characters, heroes and villains and supports, that it greatly affected the story. Black Widow has become much more threatening and i haven't even rewritten her parts yet. Chrysalis is certainly more confident than before and the royal couple has had a few tweaks and changes here and there. As I was rather busy on my vacation with sightseeing and relaxing, I only got through about half of the edits for the first chapter, but I still feel like i made leaps and bounds by working on the characters first.
With the way things are going, i may have to delete the original chapter and publish the new ones. I'll still keep the originals linked in the chap for those who want to see it. I should hope to get more done soon...maybe...okay, so i bought some new games on steam. sue me, it was a huge sale.

3178316 i would recommend just skipping to the mods , apparently vanilla really sucks compared to them , i only played through on vanilla though and now im sad from having done so after hearing about how much better the game is with the mods......
3178521 oh I'm sure it's better with the mods since I did mod my skyrim game. It's just that I want to know how shit works. I had to start a new game shortly after my first one because I made terrible mistakes and only had mostly rookies against cyber disks and berserkers that just started to pop up. I appreciate the advice but I'll go at my pace. Especially since I haven't played a super tactical game like this before.
