Wake up.
See it's 50 minutes before I have to get to work, meaning I don't have time to edit almost 2k words of Twaith and publish.
Get ready.
Get to work.
Department manager is gone, so i begin to zone.
Because of recent problems with it, I start trying to clear overstock.
The amount of overstock that is immediately is found gets me annoyed.
Get told my endcaps are bad, and have to almost be entirely cleared... so more overstock.
Spend two hours clearing and checking ONE endcap and clearing it.
Am almost to the point of tears... or screaming... or both.
Go to lunch.
Spend an hour online, trying to cheer myself up, leaving Twaith be because I am in no mood to type or edit.
Go back to work.
BOTH of my coworkers are at work.
Check the boxes they have been making so we can bin the overstock.
See they have completely decided to not care about proper procedure, and that almost all of them are in some way wrong.
Spend three hours in almost crisis mode doing this.
Spend an hour with my bikes and mellow out.
Go have dinner, with my friend's dad paying.
Bear through dinner with friend's dad being a dick to me, my brother, my friend, and my new lifestyle.
Excuse myself early before I punch him.
Get home.
Open my mac.
See it has frozen and won't respond.
Restart it.
Get a flashing folder with a question mark on it.
Restart again, but get the same indicator.
Use my brother's computer to check for a solution.
Try solution.
Solution tells me to go fuck myself.
Brother and friend get home, and convince me to start playing Bloodborne.
Bloodborne tells me to severely go fuck myself.
Try my computer again.
Try several times.
Write this on my brother's.
I still have a new PC I bought in case my mac kicked the bucket, but this could still mean at least a heavy slowing of Twaith, as my PC is larger. So large in fact, that it won't fit in my locker at work. Which means I can't work on it at work, as well as having lost the chapter.
I hope this isn't the case, and that I can get it fixed... but today has just not been good for me. I hope you all had better, and good night.
That sounds like a giant pile of suck. We're all here if you need someone to talk to; hope tomorrow is better for you.

This is why I use an external hard drive.
...And won't touch an apple product.
3159464 You say while my PC's skype is shit, and I'm forced to use Window's 8.
I know a bit about Macs and you can try reinstalling the OS again. It might work but if the drive is corrupted or failing it's SMART Status then try to plug it into another mac with Thunderbolt or firewire and boot it holding T for target disc mode and try to extract what data you can.
3159473 How about using an external hard drive that has a backup on it? It won't accept that I have a disk when trying to reinstall it or anything like that, and I have no idea what anything else you said meant.
3159476 if you have a hard drive with a recent backup on it that is good. If the computer is not recognizing that you have a hard drive in it when you try to reinstall then my suggestion for trying to transfer the information on the computer to another computer will not work. It sounds like your internal hard drive has failed. You can try using the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time while is plugged into power and hold them down for 2 seconds to try a hardware reset which might help.
Geez, that's awful man. *hugs*
3159472 I'm going to guess that when you say 'PC' you actually mean 'laptop'.
To which I say... you are a moron.
Co-workers can be a blast, can't they? I know how that is, and I've had several days where I feel like I lose IQ points just by standing near some people.
Also had a few times that I ended up with 2-3 hours of sleep before a 12 hour shift, because magic. That's always fun.
You started zoning first, that was your first mistake.
Zoning is the Devil's work.
I will agree with dangerbrony.
Anyway, all I can say is that your fans would wait for the story to be done. So don't sweat it, but thanks for giving us updates though.
I pray your laptop recovers or at least this trouble doesn't cost you much to continue.
I hope your Mac recovers soon
I can relate, my dad's laptop just spontaneously died yesterday, it won't even turn on anymore. R.I.P.
3162642 I need a new hard drive, so it is time to adapt to my PC.
Also, sorry that your dad's computer went capoot like that.
3163077 Nah, it's fine. We're holding a funeral today where my dad wants to smash it afterward. He says it'll be therapeutic for him after all the other crap that laptop's done.
