So yeah, in light of today's announcement I'm bumping this fic's rating to mature.
I was aiming for a Mel Brooks level of comedy, and while I wouldn't mind a thirteen-year-old watching "Young Frankenstein," I do have a few scruples against one watching "Blazing Saddles." Unfortunately this fic is leaning closer to the Western than to the Horror spoof. Hence the change.
What will not be changing is the story itself. It should still be mostly teen-friendly, but much like chapter one, future content will skirt the line between teen and mature, but never really cross it. If this is not your cup of tea, then press on friend. But if you're inclined to stick around, I still intent to have chapter 2 up before the month is over.

I gotta say, maybe this is being British and being raised on a diet of Peep Show and Inbetweeners rather than tamer American comedies, but if there's not explicit sex in it, it doesn't really deserve a mature rating. You're not making 'Showgirls' here, and if you rate it mature there's going to be a bunch of peeps thinking it's a clopfic and getting disappointed, or a bunch of peeps thinking it's a clopfic and avoiding it.
And hell, Blazing Saddles at thirteen? At thirteen boys are indulging in self-abuse over an old copy of FHM where they still show nipples, gaining a proficiency in old school kick-things-til-it-works style computer hackery to get past the half-dozen cybernannies their mothers have put on and directing all their friends to 2 girls 1 cup just to see their pain. Also, there's enough stuff with the exact tone of your story that isn't rated mature that rating your story that way probably won't do much good. It's like trying to hold back the tide with your balls. Doesn't matter how massive your balls are, there's a whole lot of tide to hold back.
Whatever you do, I'm massively anticipating your next chapter. MLA is the fucking tits.
EDIT: Just read the announcement, and also the story in question. I believe the issue was a scene where Lyra and Bon-Bon have to swallow as much of Big Mac's semen as possible to keep their jobs. You're probably fine.
