Episode 100 - MAJOR SPOILERS · 10:47pm Jun 13th, 2015

All I can say is that this episode is dope as f*ck. I thought it would explore more personalities than the background six and some, but that wasn't the case. Still vastly entertaining nonetheless. Now, let's take a look at the shenanigans we have witnessed today.

Doctor Hooves (or Time Turner) - Not only does he bear similarities to the infamous Time Lord without overdoing it, he even shares some quirks from Back to the Future's Emmett "Doc" Brown. And I swear he sounds like Stephan Merchant.

Muffins Derpy - Need I say more? Ditzy, adorable, and just trying to lend a helping hoof to friends in need.

I see them as hetero life partners, but every one to his/her own, da?

Bon Bon (real name Sweetie Drops) - Jesus, Mary and Joseph they actually handled the naming issue! And this was a totally unexpected route! Makes you wonder what crazy stunts she's pulled behinds the scenes in past seasons. An hey, that explains the multiple voices; gotta have different identities, right?

Lyra - I got nothing. I love her status as the impish mare of the pair.

Okay, that was dope.

Best pet, hands down.

Overall, I give "Slice of Life" a 9/10. The pacing was steady, the characters were entertaining, and the lesson at the end was just touching. And again, Gummy just nailed it. The only grip I have with this episode is the severe lack of Flash Sentry, despite Cadance's presence there. With that said...
