My thoughts on: "Slice of Life" (MLP season 5 , episode 09 (SPOILERS)) · 6:32pm Jun 13th, 2015
Not a big fan of 'pandering' but I think the writer/crew are making the 'pandering' (work as of lately.) and it show is this episode. And it was over the top but not in a bad way. I mean I like this episode being over top. And the fact that its so over the top makes the “pandering” work because everything is already weird that it doesn’t really make it any weirder. It was fun.
I can see people who prefer to take the show more seriously ( even for a kids show) and hate when they do extreme things disliking it, but for what I want out of it, this was perfect.
I like the little bits like Luna and Celestia acting like sisters 
, Time Tuner being a time-master-thingy (and he hinted at being centuries old), Gummy being deep. (Maybe too deep?), Shining Armor’s Liquid Pride (again ) and a changeling....WAIT WHAT?

I know what I am working into my Fall of the Flutter Princess story than 
(somehow).
The doctor who references were a bit too much but now i am just nit-picking. My favorite Doctor Who refence would be the forth doctor's scarf and Time-Tuner saying Allons-y .
I want to Thanks Hasbro, for this wonderful episode! This is by FAR the BEST episode of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic to date! I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for the little surprises as well *cough* Gummie and Bon Bon. *cough* Thank you for the Doctor Who references, it made my fangirl heart happy! Thank you Hasbro for an awesome episode.
