Well it's been a busy week for me. I've had a lot on my mind lately but what threw me off the hardest was with regard to my car. My pen name being what it is, you probably think I own a pretty fast car and I'd be really attached to it. You would be thinking correctly because I own the single most beautiful vehicle made by man. Thats right, I own a Nissan 300ZX.
I've owned that car since I was 18 it's been a constant companion and immeasurably fun. She's taken me across the country, twice, up and down both the East and West coast, and she's my own car. Needless to say she is invaluable to me, however the other day I got a pretty hefty repair bill to the tune of five thousand wing wangs. Since I'm between jobs and as far as the local PD knows I haven't been racing (aside from that cocky little kid in that fat pusstang, there was no cash but someone had to put him in his place) 
, I really can't afford to keep her on the road. MY dad has been kind enough to give up his garage privileges and let my car take his spot until I can make it safe to drive again. That said I do have a backup plan.
I've owned this little pony since I was 17, her last ride was two years ago, so she needs a little work. It should go without saying a motorcycle would be much cheaper to get running but this is my alternative.
All of this is stressful enough on it's own but heres the good part. I was living out of state for a few years so naturally I got an appropriate driver's license. Ever since January however, I've been trying to get my California license back and have just hit road block after road block and I feel that an in state license is still easily more than a month away. I need an instate driver's license so I can get my motorcycle endorsement. I've been trying and trying but I can't get a hold of anybody whose supposed to be able to help me.
The whole debacles been very discouraging and distracting. It's taken my attention away from a lot of things including writing. So I may not have the next chapter of Street Dreams ready until sometime next week. However I seem to have found my rhythm again and the next chapter should be done before next Wednesday.
Anyway, theres my little excuse for falling behind, thanks for reading and don't be mad please.
