Story updates? · 1:23am Jun 11th, 2015
So... not sure what to do here. I'm writing a multi-chapter story, and I'm not sure how I plan on going about updating it. I see two options.
I could write a lot of chapters ahead of time and then publish them at regular intervals, but the problem with this is I'm really lazy. It could potentially take up until the fall for me to publish the story, at which point I'll be starting high school, and I'm not sure how busy I'll be. I'm taking all honors classes, and that's pretty much the equivalent of AP classes in other schools because my school is ahead of most. Then I could fall behind on chapters, and I might have to stop the chapter release schedule, which might annoy people.
Option 2: I write chapters whenever I want and publish them whenever I want. If you want an example of why this is a terrible idea, look at the first story I published on here and the dates on the chapters. However, this would allow me to release the story much sooner. I'm not sure if it would be more or less stressful than the first.
But... what would you guys prefer? If it helps, I have an outline of the story completed, chapter one is almost finished being edited (at least, I think so - correct me if I'm wrong, magis), I'm typing up chapter two atm, a scene from chapter 3 is written, and I have the climax of the story planned out. I'd say I have about 7,000 words so far.
Unrelated: nooooooooo high school I don't wanna go! Now I feel old! And it's such a downgrade from the middle school; English class is literally in a shack. A shack! And I can't take creative writing until tenth grade!
And... can we all please just ignore that last blog I posted? I'm not used to having that much attention on me. ~450 views kinda scares me, and I got in a fight with one of my friends on this site over it.
Oh might as well. .
I say do whatever gives you less stress.
How do you think I feel
I'm still sorry about that
