So last last weekend I and 3 friends drove a thousand miles from SoCal to Seattle to go to Everfree Northwest. It was a lot of fun, and just like last year, I did A/V for a lot of writers panels, met a lot of writers, met the guy who does the adorable Horse Wife tumblr, roomed with Pen Stroke and Bronywriter (actually that didn't happen at last EFNW, but has happened at both BABSCons.) danced, got chastized by Bookish Delight for writing my latest abomination, said hi to a lot of fanfiction writers whom I'm not going to try and name, and listened to lots of pony music. Did I mention it was fun? I also tried two weed cookies. Only 20mg of weed, but I felt the effects.
One of the writers who came down from Canada was Horse Voice, FimFiction's premier horror story writer (Kaidan might disagree, but meh.). The dude is Canadian as can be, i.e. super polite and frequently saying "eh?". No word on his proclivity towards Tim Hortons though. It was a lot of fun hanging out with him and chatting with him about story writing. He also was a big fan of my most well known horror story:

I'm flattered, but if you truly wish not to sleep at night and/or question humanity intensely, go read some of his stories!
After EFNW, We drove through a thunderstorm down to Lodi, dropped somepony off, then drove down to San Fran and chilled with a friend for a bit, then I dropped the other two off at the San Fran Caltrain Station and they took MegaBus home for $25 each. I heartily recommend Megabus as a way to traverse California.
Then I did 3.5 days of super intense Lyft driving in San Fran and Oakland, making as much there each weekday as I do in LA on a Saturday. And the super awesome guy known as xjuggernaughtx and his equally awesome wife let me crash at their house in Hayward during the day, and she fed me delicious chili and other foods and let me do laundry and take showers there. Incredibly hosipitable, and I can't thank them enough. And their dog is a sweetie! Juggers has written some great stuff, so be sure to check him out and say that Super sent you.
Well, that's about it. I've been Lyfting a lot to pay for debts and I'm almost back on solid ground. Also had a rock concert and an Orchestra concert I played in last weekend. Looking forward to doing more writing soon. Got a bunch of new ideas recently. Love you all, and never hesitate to drop me a line if you want to chat. Peace out!
