Level Dasher

What happens when a life-changing event occurs that shapes your whole life? What if that event occurs when life has barely begun? If a kid has dealt with more issues in six years than most can handle in a lifetime, how do you think they'd feel?

A comment on my previous blog reminded me that I didn't update here yet, but it still won't be horribly long.

    I Live!

But I’m on a buttload of drugs and am going to pass out.

Surgery went great, even better than expected. I’ll elaborate more later.

    Until next time!

Update for the New Month · 1:33am Jun 4th, 2015

Hey All!

In case you're curious, just because this is the second time I'm doing a 'new month' update, it doesn't mean I'm going to make this a regular thing. It's just kind of timed itself that way. Anyway...

First things first, I thought that those of you following it would like to know I've made some pretty decent progress with Crimson. There were a couple of things that I was having trouble getting on paper that I finally managed to get down. I'm hoping I can stay on this track, but no promises.

I started my online class last week (Myth, Magic and Legends in Early British Literature), and am pretty sure I made a good impression with my professor— I think that'll be a big help going forward. There are only six of us in the class, but one of my classmates is already making themselves out to be a bit of a slacker (good thing they weren't my partner on our first assignment). A rough draft of my first essay is due next week, and based on some of the things I brought up in Crimson (and the fact that I was assigned it in our first assignment), I think I'm going to write a creative essay on incantations... (You can stop when you get to the word 'analytic')

That just sounds like a challenge to me. :rainbowdetermined2:

Taking tae kwon do twice a week, just got myself a new pair of rollerblades, walking from A to B when I can— I'm feeling pretty good six months out from the stem cell transplant. Good thing the weather has been nice...ish.

On top of the writing and classwork, I'm still keeping up with the editing I'm still doing (waiting on one person to get their act together with the next chapter :raritywink:, while the other is generally good with their scheduling, though things do happen that we can't always foresee :applejackunsure:). It all certainly keeps my days full— I've barely had time to game!

Well, I'll keep you guys up to date if anything big pops up. Remember, I'm not posting any more of Crimson until it's finished, so don't expect anything too soon. The only things I'll likely be posting other than blogs would be one-shots, and only if it's something I REALLY want to get down (that's what happened with Rainbow Pony). I'm trying my best to stick with my main three—Crimson, DaD, and my collab with Anonymoose—but primarily Crimson (sorry Moosey).

Until next time!
