FlutterCord Writing Contest with Art Prizes · 8:09pm Jun 3rd, 2015
So, my friend Harmonic Brush inspired me to hold a writing contest, so here goes nothing! This will be a shipping romance story for my personal favorite ship, FlutterCord. Your story must be a Chapter Story, containing at least 3 chapters each being a minimum of 500 words long. Please, don't submit a story that is over 30,000 words long. Also, please only submit one story to give some other authors a fair go. Your story won't be accepted into the contest if it is mature, and/or contains gore. Here are some of the prizes I will be giving away:
~ 1st Place:
3 drawings of dessert ponies of your choice. (Send me Pictures of the 3 desserts you want me to ponyify and I will choose the bases), a shout out on my user page, and bragging rights.
~2nd Place:
2 drawings, one of an existing OC, and 1 of a brand new dessert pony. (Send me a dessert picture), a shout out, and bragging rights.
~3rd Place:
1 drawing of one of your OC's on a base of your choice, a shout out on my user page and NO bragging rights for you! LOL just kidding.
~Participant Award
For everyone who enters I'll make a little symbolish thing with your user icon and your username under it and also your story cover art, so please make sure you add a cover art.
I will be using a point system to decide the winner. It will be up to 20 points, 10 for grammar, 5 for creativity/originality and 5 for the story itself. The deadline is one month from now, Wednesday, July 1st, 2015.
For your story to be valid to enter the contest:
~A link to the contest in the story's long description
~No mature or gore tag
~Needs the romance tag
~At least 3 chapters
~At least 500 words per chapter
~Cover Art
~PM me with the story link
