Sooo over on fanfiction.net, I posted a few stories set in an original MLP universe called G5, which I never psoted here because, well, I'm fairly certain I'm not supposed to. However, I'd like you folks' opinion. Should I upload my G5 series here too, even though it has no actual connection to Friendship is Magic?

Ask a mod. If they say it's cool, then go for it. There are works featuring only OCs on the site, and ones set in really weird worlds, and others with both. Just because you label it G5 shouldn't bar it. But if you are really worried, ask the mods.

I agree with Whiteeyes; it shouldn't be a problem, but then again I've never gone looking for exclusively G1-G3 fanfiction on this website (does it exist? It is "FIM" fiction, after all), so I wouldn't really be sure either. >.<
Did you ever ask a moderator? Though I think it really would be alright, considering the breadth of stories around here. I mean, it does have to do with ponies in general, it's not like you're randomly writing about Friends and posting it on here XP
4124127 yeah I never did and I currently haven;t been able to get stuff off my old computer's harddrive onto my new one. and G5 was among the stuff on the old harddrive.
4124462 Aww...that's unfortunate. I hope the old hard drive is at least still working? I have two dead hard drives that are collecting dust that one day I'll recover the data from when I have the money to send them somewhere...I already tried recovering myself via software methods but they're sadly unreadable :c I have so many things on them too (not just my own work, but things i've downloaded from the internet for example) that I can't get back otherwise...
