Hat Man Reviews: "Haze" by Bandy!

Haze is a story that is filled with big ideas: Cloud empires. Flying earth ponies. Ancient religions. Superpower-inducing fungi. Unfortunately, much like the mushroom-munching ponies in this story, this story might be biting off more than it can handle…

Art Showcase from "The Iron Horse" · 12:12am May 20th, 2015

Hey folks! I just thought I'd share some of the art that has been produced to support my little project "The Iron Horse: Everything's Better with Robots!" All art here was done by Colby Green, my friend and fellow brony. Enjoy!

Here we see Turing Test's first meeting with Fluttershy. Turing's oblivious as usual, while Flutters deals with the awkwardness of a friend request she didn't really expect. We've all been there, right?

The Cutie Mark Crusaders first met Turing Test after she got struck by lightning. This is the first time they see her functioning normally. I really like how Green draws ears and he's pretty good at making the ponies look cute especially in contrast to Turing's design.

And here we come to my favorite. Gadget's basically a character I put in every universe I build, but this is the first time I've put her in pony form. I wasn't initially sure that Green would get her geeky, disheveled style or be able to adequately portray her mechanical arms, but this is dead on for how I thought she should look. Note how each hand is doing something different, showing how well she controls them. For those of you who want to see more of her in the story, not to worry! She'll return in a later chapter.

That's all for now! Thanks for reading, and I hope you'll enjoy more of the story and more pictures as they come!

Gadget is awesome, Turing looks strangely adorable with the Crusaders around her, and poor Fluttershy needs a hug!
