I don't really care for it in general anymore. Some of it is just how some people in the fandom are, but the main reason is just not as interested now
I'm not trying to insult anyone. Here I have met amazing people with great talent and awesome personalities. And it bums me out because I love the stories I have written
In truth... The only story I am possibly even tempted to keep writing is what choice do I have.
Reason???? I just love the entire idea I made of Twilight turning evil. I did my best to make a unique take on the premise to something never done before and am so close to being done. and in truth.....
There was a sequel coming.
This idea has been in my head for 2 years. The cover art, layout, conflicts, new characters, and an entire world probably never done before on the site was ready. Hints have been dropped throughout my story at it and was dreaming to have it done
The problem is getting to it
I am really trying to write, but interest is a key.
I have the plots of all my fics done and will reveal them only if no hope of continuing is in sight... Or you all really want to see

Well if you don't want to do it then you don't have to do it, that's all on you
but I think the fandom excuse if a little silly, you'll find assholes everywhere, no point letting it get to you
Similar mindset quite a long time ago - took a long long break from the fandom, over half a year, you should do the same - get involved in other, fresh fandoms and other shows, and come back here when, say... Season 5 ends or another movie comes out - I guarantee you will be at least partly refreshed and willing to come back.
TF2 is a good distraction.
MLP doesn't have to be your favorite show and the main focus of your non-work non-school life in order for you to have fun with it from time to time, If you are tempted to keep writing your stories then just do it as a hobby rather than an obligation. Either way we should hang out on Steam at some point.
If you're burned out, take a break.
If you hate the people you're writing for, write for you.
If you just want to finish the story, write it privately or somewhere else.
Do stuff for your own reasons to meet your own needs.
I haven't read it yet, but it sounds good enough that I will ASAP, and I will LOVE AND TOLERATE you forever if you leave it unfinished.

It really does suck if you've lost all interest, but it has been nice to read your stories all these years. Hopefully, you'll pop in from time to time.

I know the feel. All I can think is to rewatch the first couple seasons, especially your favorite episodes. Remember why you like the show.
Well I've seen this happen in between seasons but never during a season. MLP is my inspiration, maybe you should go back and look at what was originally yours. I can think of a few stories that have inspired me and the fandom continues to inspire me. If I only had the time, I would be writing constantly. If you need an inspiration boost, try Past Sins. Its got that old feel of MLP from the early seasons while still feeling different and interesting.
