Me and Crossovers are breaking up · 10:24am May 9th, 2015

Let it be known that, after eight and a half hours of dealing with unlucky, pissed off gamblers,:ajsleepy: I am busily typing up the last chapter to Saints and Sparkles. However, in light of what I will say below, I want to get a few things out of the way. (This is both how I think it will best be seen and how I want to say it.)

-Saints and Sparkles will NOT be getting a sequel.:applecry:
-The alternate endings I had planned have been reduced in number. Instead of five endings, I'll give you two or three over an indeterminate amount of time. Maybe. I hope. No promises or guarantees.

I'm saying this because I don't want to write crossovers anymore. See, when I get into something, I'll only be into it for so long. Once I start to lose interest in the thing, I lose interest in the story I'm writing for the thing. It's happened with One Little Drone, my Starcraft 2 crossover and it's happening to Saints and Sparkles, too.

I'm still going to, if nothing else, finish SaS so that I can have it off my chest and stop worrying about it. But now with no sequel planned, I'm trying to figure out how to write my ending without it being unsatisfying - to you guys or myself. It's not as easy as I'd hoped. :fluttershysad:

I may still do crossovers in the future if they're one-shots. I've been writing out a rough draft for a one-shot in which poor Fluttershy finds herself in a misty, haunted Japanese village and is terrorized by its Onryƍ... (first person to guess what it's a crossover of may get to pre-read it if I ever finish it.):raritywink:

... So... yeah. Back to writing before my meds wear off or I pass out. :pinkiesick:

Disappointing but understandable. Although you could always give permission for someone else to write a sequel to SaS if they so wanted to.

Looking forward to the ending.

It's time to give one little drone away oh well

What ever you feel is best; I hope you find other stories that you want to write.

Given you do crossovers with games, I'd guess Fatal Frame.
