It's actually very complete! Just needs art for it. Now, I had received word from paper pony around March that he was eager to participate again. I showed him the chapter, and he read it. He was pleased and enthusiastic!
Alas, that's pretty much the last time we conversed. I've tried to reach him many times, but to no avail. My determination kept my chin up. For a while. I couldn't wait forever. As much as it pained me, I told him of a deadline. I received no reply, and the deadline has now passed. With a heavy heart, I asked a recent acquaintance to step up to the plate. I'm dismayed by paper pony's unexplained absence, and having someone take his place without his approval feels like betrayal. That ArtOfCanterlot is easy to reach imbues me with some comfort in this time of sadness. Still, if paper pony contacts me and wishes to do the art for chapter 18, I'm game! I dearly wish to work with him in the future.
Without much ado, here's an impressive example of what ArtOfCanterlot is capable of. He has my sincerest thanks and admiration.
As an aside, seems that four-legs proficiency is not achieved in a heartbeat, and perhaps raises the question of whether we'd fare any better than our beloved/dastardly protagonist does.
I'm very happy to have the opportunity to help out with your fantastic story; I have been enthralled by your writing, and as such, I look forward to seeing where you take the plot! The drawings for chapter 18 are in the works and should be ready for posting in the near future. I can't wait to see the final posted product! :D

Paper pony's art style is nothing what the paper pony couple exhibits, and they live in the US, whereas paper pony doesn't. Also, as far as I know, he hasn't been on dA for 8 years and isn't married. So, again, I have to say that the names being similar is coincidental; it's extremely likely that paper pony and the couple are entirely different people.
