Okay, this just came to my mind and I felt like sharing it.

Think of Samus, naturally... in her Zero Suit

BUT

instead of her traditional Zero Suit, it's the Wonderbolt's Suit. I don't know why that struck me nor why I wanted to share that thought but... there ya go lel.

In other news, 34.5 will be done and released later this week.

I could see that. If she's made an honorary member of the Equestrian military, she could train with the Wonderbolts for combat classes - more training them than anything - and I could see her doing a temporary color change to her Zero Suit to match their colors.

Does Samus' Zero Suit have the ability to change its appearance, like her Power Suit does? I've always thought of it as 'storing' her armor while not in use or otherwise unusable (in a similar matter/energy interchange manner to her Morph Ball) so it having the same kind of adaption abilities wouldn't be too far out there. Her armor only seems to change its appearance when it absorbs upgrades though, but maybe cosmetic changes would be within its abilities?

Should it have such an ability, I would love to see Rarity's reaction to it. An entire wardrobe of colors & patterns in one garment? Do you think she'd be like this or like this?

3049688 <Wonderbolt Wings> Can be utilized in either Zero Suit or Power Suit modes. Allows for the materialization of Hard Light wings which can be used to perform various advanced aerial maneuvers at speeds up to Mach 4. The weight and less aerodynamic form of the Power Suit limits the wings' capabilities to only basic maneuvers at speeds under 100 MPH.

There we go. Now we have an upgrade to both trigger an appearance change and give her a reason to train with the Wonderbolts instead of just the Royal Guard.
