Where I was the last week

Yeah, so I was pretty much offline for a solid week, not much fic progress either.

I was away for work unfortunately, and due to the nature of my job I don't really have access to the internet and electricity when I'm out. I mean, pics below are my daily work commute.

Happy New Years (and some progress updates)

So, to start with, Happy New Years and all that.

Hope you all had a good Christmas and everything, I spent mine down in one of the capitol cities visiting friends. While there, I managed to get Lorenzo something hilarious...

    The MLP tabletop roleplaying game.

    Updates and Other Tidbits

    Happy New Year

    First on the list:

I'm currently working on the next chapter for 'I Come From a Land Down Under', and am making decent progress. It's a bit of a difficult one and Christmas and all that. Still, pace is good, so hopefully it won't be too long away.

    Secondly:

Spoilers for the Season Six Finale - Fic Incoming

    Hi all,

Just a quick update letting you know (warning?) that I've spent the last six hours writing a short little first chapter (9000 words is short) of a Chrysalis versus Thorax fic that hopefully will be posted soon through the approval system.

1. New fic goes up: The Bloodmoon Chronicles

2. It gets featured (First stage of downfall).

3. Despite being an established writer, an admin in Rage Reviews, and making the description as obvious as possible, people still think I wrote an actual 100% serious red and black Alicorn OC fic.

4. Dropbear shakes head at the inability for people to process very simple and obvious satire.

Hue. The comments are a laugh though. All those people trying to educate me that you can't have three halves of something.

You most definitely can have three halves of something!

I'm super cereal!

Look at it like this, 90% of Americans fail to understand satire and similar concepts.

Which means 90% of the people who read your satirical fic about read-and-black alicorn OCs will not understand.

Also, anything with Nigel is amazing, even if it was fifteen chapters of him eating cheese and crackers while sitting on the shitter.

I know it is satire, but it's damn good satire. Make fun of red-and-black OCs as much as you want, just keep this story going! Also, The Stalker may want to kill you no matter what. He IS a red-and-black being, and does not like being insulted. Plus, his 1.5 million or more victims can vouch that he does not joke around.

Quick, get to the huecopter! Huehuehuehuehuehue

Pure comedy gold, I say. Tough, I suppose you have to be a certain age before your mind is mature enough to actually see it. My guess, 23+

I'm 15, and I can see why this is funny. (And I felt pleasure from the sheer over-the-top ness this has.)

3042593 I've always found stuff like this funny, so I don't think it has anything to do with age, just intelligence and/or maturity.
