Okay so I know this is a weird time to be saying this, as it has been finished for like 7 months, but...I think I want to re-do 'Dangan Ronponya'.
Now I do need a second opinion on this because it would mean that the current sequel would have to be put on hiatus. The biggest thing that brought this up was just seeing how poorly written the story was and how I could have very easily made it better if I just took more time to think about it.
There were also outcomes of killings that I had wanted to try, some survivors dying, some dead people having more time to develop as characters and I never did that. That's what bothers me the most, I had been told that the character ideas were interesting but I never took them anywhere aside from the protagonist and very few others.
So I want to know what others think and it's really important to hear another voice in this cause I have been distracted by it for a while now. I think if I just get another opinion then I can decide happily.
Well, I myself am redoing mine, so I can definitely see the appeal of it. However, it would depend on how much you wanted to change. If it might as well be an entirely new story, then you could consider doing that instead.
3022069 Creating a completely new story was going to be my intention from the beginning and there would be a lot of change put into it especially with the final class trial since it was such a flop.
3022155 Well, in that case, I would consider leaving the original up still, and the new one could be an AU. As long as there's significant differences between them (including the general text, mind you), you're allowed to do that, and the original still has some value.
