I'm tired of not working on the changeling doll
Let's work on the changeling doll!
"No, you're not a doll; you are just simply an idiot. Now, because I'm sure you're harmless, I'll do you a kindness and escort you out of the castle. Come along, little changeling." Luna turned and headed towards her door.
Luna stopped when she realized the strange changeling was not following her. Turning around, she saw the bug stare at the bed in defeat.
“Look, I’m not going to treat you roughly or anything. Try your luck elsewhere changeling, and no replacing somepony’s loved one." Luna warned.
“Yeah, I’ve already tried my luck elsewhere, I was kinda hoping you’d save me the trouble of trying anymore and just throw me in the dungeon…” The changeling pouted.
Luna frowned, and sat down next to the changeling on the bed. “What’s wrong changeling? Surely you’re not sore over failing to deceive somepony, you’d be miserable doing your occupation otherwise.”
The changeling sighed, “You wouldn’t understand.”
“Try me.”
“It’s just… After that invasion on Canterlot years ago, Changelings have been demonized by ponies. I know I’m not exactly nice but… Have you ever made one mistake that so big, that nopony will ever let you live it down, and now every everypony treats you dirt because of it?”
Luna wrapped a wing around the changeling. “I do, actually. I’m still suffering from something similar to that right now. Answer this, little changeling… Why should a pony’s opinion matter to you? Wouldn’t your friends be other changelings?”
“OH CRAP I WROTE MYSELF INTO A CORNER” QUICK WIT YELLED. “THE PAPER SAYS I WAS SENT HERE TO YOU DIRECTLY SO I CAN’T SAY I BROKE AWAY FROM THE HIVE OR I WAS TRYING TO GET MYSELF KILLED AND I ALREADY ESTABLISHED YOU’RE NOT AN IDIOT!”
“WOW, GOOD JOB LOSER!” LUNA SCREAMED.
“SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT-”
SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT-So I'll be streaming today at 5 today. That's about 3 hours and 10 minutes from now. Everyone welcome, and by everyone, I mean Dragonsinger, Hybrid Changeling, and the three others that switch off like guest stars.
Edit: Due to request of Dragonsinger/Hybrid Changeling, the current games we're playing are now Battletoads for the first hour and Pony Fantasy 6 for the second one.
Well, that seems easy enough to fix to me. Just have him (her?) brush the question off, possibly by saying that he spends most of his time among ponies. Then you can get back to them being cute together and finish writing a scene that can only end in a hug.

To put it a tad more in context, Luna found the letter saying Quick Wit was specifically sent to her for the reason of infiltrating. So at the very least she can safely assume it's a fact that Quick Wit is not also still in contact in her hive but plays a important role, enough of one that she wouldn't just ditch for the heck of it.
Honestly what it's coming down to is I just need to change the letter. The problem is Quick is the type of character who loves making herself look incredibly suspicious and then finding a way to talk or act her way out of it, it's what she finds fun.

Easy way to fix it.
"And how are we to live after having made such a horrid mistake?" the changeling asked weakly. "How long will we last with no one to love us? How will future generations survive when all we have to feed them is the hatred of others? ...who will fix this mistake, if not I?"
Basically, imply that this Changeling - and whoever else he may be working with - is working to fix Chrysalis' mistake because no one else will take responsibility to do so, and someling has to.

By its very existence, the letter proves that Quick Wit is an infiltrator who spends most of her time outside the hive with very limited contact with other changelings. After all, letters are slow, easily intercepted, easily tracked, and easily discovered so using them clearly indicates that there is no better option available. This in turn means Quick has to be completely out of contact with other changelings for the entirety of all her missions due to the danger of establishing contact which establishes very solid footing for being lonely and not having any changeling friends to talk to.
