    An Announcement

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today is a special day. For years now, I have been working silently, crafting a tale that I have kept in the background for this entire time as I strung keystrokes together for this site.

    Character Analysis: Rarity

    Ah, Rarity.

The things I could say about her. You see, dear Rarity was what brought me to the fandom you see. It was summer of 2012, and there I sat in the living room, with a want of something to do, when there on the TV guide was "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." Now, I had heard of some weirdos who actually liked this show, so I decided, "Eh, why not see what the deal is?"

    NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

    So...

The latest Chapter of Marks of War seems to have disappeared.

I'm going to have to rewrite a good chunk of stuff.

    This is so uncool...

    It'll be back...

See you all later, I guess.

Edit: Something weird is going on. I've double posted for some reason.

    The Season 5 Finale

    It was...okay...

I mean, it started amazingly! The whole time travel/alt. universe thing was awesome. Yes, Wanderer D said that it didn't make sense because NNM would win every time, but since we saw Luna in the Discord universe, we can assume that someone found the Elements of Harmony, so it kinda does make sense.

    Character Analysis: Princess Celestia

Okay, okay, I know I said I do the Mane Six, but...well...the big problem with doing the mane six is that most people have a good hold on them. Pinkie sometimes gets the short end of the stick because she’s so hyperactive people skim over her, but that’s becoming less and less an issue as time goes on.

    Princess Celestia, however…

Alright, guys, time for a poll-ish...thing. · 7:49pm Apr 15th, 2015

"A Polish thing? Like sausage?"

Funny. No, I mean a poll.

"Well why didn't you say that?"

Just...nevermind. Look, guys, since the Harmony for All trilogy is coming to a close, I've been struck with a bit on an issue. It's an age-old one that has haunted artists for centuries and shows no signs of slowing down.

"What do I do next?"

Now, luckily for me, the issue is not that I have a lack of options. No, in this case, it is an over abundance.

I simply have too many ideas.

So, I've narrowed it down to two that I find especially interesting, and I want to put them forward so that you, yes you, my loving audience may decide.

Option 1: The Marks of War.
An MLP/WH40k crossover. Our favorite Cutie Mark searching fillies are off once again, searching for the place where they belong. Unfortunately, due to an accident brought on by their meddling, they find themselves in a universe forged by fear and war. Separated by three factions and millions of miles, these three fillies must survive and find their way home. But can they? And if they do return, will the Marks of War change them beyond recognition?
(WH40k lore will be explained as we go on, no one's getting left in the dark on this one)

Option 2: The Department of Supernatural and Paranormal Investigation, the D.S.P.I.
It has been many long years since Spike buried Twilight. Many long years of chasing the one who ruined the lives of his friends. Everyone he get's close to gets hurt, everyone he loves is ruined. But now his revenge needs to take the backseat as he leads a team of the best Equestria has to offer to fight the threats it best not know about. He may not be alone, but he feels like it is his job, and his job alone to lead the department. And revenge will be his.
(Something like XCOM meets Men-in-Black meets Hellsing, to ponies!)

So, let me know what you guys think, I'm interested to know how this will go.

I vote for the first.

Anyone who disagrees is a heretic.

And heresy is punishable by death.

I'm fairly interested it "The Marks of War". Seems like an interesting crossover.

I'm actually tempted to see some Spike action here.

I personally vote for The Marks of War, and here's an idea. You could make 2 Comments (or just 1 comment) with an easy choice option. Like:

"Thumbs up for: Marks of War" (Put likes/dislikes here)

&

"Thumbs up for: D.S.P.I." (Put likes/dislikes here)

You know what I mean? I'm not telling you to do it, it's just a suggestion. I just think that would be easier/faster than reading every single comment and then counting which one wins.

Just a friendly suggestion!

Hmm...I would say that the first is a little bit more interesting, but the second one fits a lot more with the generas. Depends on your choice though, as you are the writer Of all this.

I say do another HIE story I love reading those. but if i had to choose I would say the first one

Both sound like interesting ideas, but my preference would be for Marks of War.

I'll say Marks of War as long as the CMC don't radically change in the grim darkness of the 41st millienium. (ie, they join the inquesition and gleefully murder a planet, "Cutie Mark Exterminatus yay!") Normally I hate people mixing my xenos blood spattered marines with my candy colored ponies, but I trust you can pull it off.

2987995 well...I can't promise they won't become killers. But I can say that they'll all hate the inquisition.

Personally I would like another HIE from you.

I vote option 2. I know almost* nothing about the WH40K universe. And if that fic gets written I probably will skip it. And that would be sad cause I would miss your amazing wring...'

* Everything I know about I learned from the MLP-TimeLoops fic.

Problem with the 40k crossover is that insurmountable obstacle of no matter which army or faction they end up with, they'd be instantly dead.
That being said, I could totally see them being rescued by some ajncient glitchy dreadnought that mistakes them for human children.
Am
And it cannot be 40k without some grimdark elements.

It is an obstacle, it really is. I've been thinking about for days now, and I think I might have something ironed out. I even had it double checked by a non-brony friend, just to make sure.

2988101
Well, the point would be that I'd keep the uninitiated up-to-date on the lore throughout. The advantage of bringing in utter noobs into to the universe is that I'd have to explain everything to them anyway, including what a bolter is, a power sword, the Adeptus Astrates, etc.

Both of your votes have been counted, though.

I like the D.S.P.I. idea, though, as others have stated, I think another HiE would be better. Still, it's your choice and whatever it happens to be, I'll be looking forward to it.

2988002 Don't we all? Alrighty then, I'll just wait and see along with the rest of us. Still, you have my trust.
