If Baen, just by himself, had stumbled upon Starlight's town prior to The Girls finding. What exactly do you think would happen and how well would he fair? Keep in mind, we all know how Baen works and what Starlight is capable of. I honestly want to hear what you all think would happen.

Well I noticed when she takes the marks, the magic goes as well. Old Magic is just a far older and primal version of Equestrian magic, so now add that into the equation. So if she stole his mark, his Old Magic would be sapped and his strength would be severely limited. So now fillies and gentlecolts, bear that in mind as well.
If it was before his cutiemark, he would win no problem. Unfortunately since he has it, he may lose a lot of his old magic and strength. (Remember it also makes everypony equal, so I may take away his super strength and even his attitude. (Remember that's what happened to Pinkie.) With him forced to be equal, he would be a sitting duck against her.

2966178 I know there would be intense repercussion with taking the old Magic from Baen. I can see the town blowing up. But lets face it. If Rainbow Dash was a fast as Fluttershy and the others, while the towns ponies were much faster, I think Baen would follow suit.

Hrm, well Old Magic is pretty powerful as Baen has described before. Back in his time he explained that Old Magic could be manipulated by even Earth ponies, and since his mark is a rune. Well, if Starlight were to place his mark over hers, she'd have access to Old Magic as well as all the strength Baen has PLUS her natural power and strength.

God, now I need someone to make that into a fic in the BaenVerse. Starlight wields Old Magic, Baen is equal, weak, and is broken and has no will to fight. Twilight and the girls, fate unknown, and Starlight equalizes ANYPONY who acquires a mark. Would make for a neat tale. A hero rises with a resistance behind him or her, and fights back.
