So, the last chapter, now 1,166 words in, is still being worked on. Amazing progress, I know; a great step up from 1,000+ words per night. Make no mistake, I'm gonna finish Saints and Sparkles if it kills me. However, I have also just been hired by and started orientation at the local casino. So that's a distraction from my independent literary efforts, but I don't really want to say to much about the job because... well, I know that they do thorough background checks for most, if not all employees, but I don't know how thorough.
I'm honestly paranoid that they might find my FimFiction account, if they haven't already. Now, out of almost 3,000 employees, I doubt that I'd be called on my work here, but... well I'm paranoid of spaghetti.
... So there. tl;dr, I have a job, possible further delays, I WILL finish Saints and Sparkles.
Dude, don't sweat the background check. I'm sure all they'll check is your FB/MySpace or (heaven forbid) your Google+ account. If your IRL name has no ties to this site, they won't find anything.
Even if they do somehow link you to this site, I'm sure at least 100 of those 2,999 other employees are in the mlp closet, and the rest have done worse than you, and still got hired.
