Season 5 Predictions

Season 5 starts soon. Like two days soon. It's almost here! The third Season I will see as it premieres! The second since I started FIMfiction. This is gonna be great.

Okay, so me and a few of my friends play this game where we try to correctly predict things that will be in the next Season and/or Movie. Everyone else rates those predictions by how likely they are, with the more implausible guesses being assigned more points if they turn out to be correct.

Here are my predictions for Season 5:

1) No major villain except Discord will return this season.
2) Only one of the CMC will get a mark.
3) Flash Sentry will return at least 2 more times.
4) Luna will get a solo.
5) There will be a Guest Star episode.
6) We will see another Alicorn.
7) Zecora will appear in three episodes.
8) We will meet the parents of a character whose parents we've never seen before.
9) Megan McCarthy is writing the finale, which also happens to be a two parter.

There was a number 10, but it was a meta prediction about one of my friend's predictions, and I can't think of a good substitute right now.

So, what do you think? Am I right? Do you have better predictions?

that's probably true. there's a official photo of Sweetie Belle auditioning in front of Vinyl and Octavia. other then hearing their voices for the first time (i hear headcanons breaking already), she might get her mark.

6) We will see another Alicorn.

i... don't think that'll happen. there's enough already with Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Twilight, and even Chrysalis if you count her. that's enough.

8) We will meet the parents of a character whose parents we've never seen before.

Applejack, Fluttershy, Scootaloo, Spike... that's at least 4.

9) Megan McCarthy is writing the finale, which also happens to be a two parter.

that's a no brainer.

As for 6...
That one is based partly on the Princess Skyla rumors... but leaves room for another Alicorn, so it's broader than "Princess Skyla will appear" but still unlikely.

And #9 was supposed to be a no-brainer. The way the rules for our little game works is everyone gives each prediction from another player a rating from A (highly unlikely) to E (extremely likely), which have point values (A=100, B=50, C=20, D=10, E=5), and then average the points for each prediction. So #9 got rated E by all my friends, average point value of 5. My #6 Prediction got a mix of As and Bs, so it got an average of 83 points.

I try for a mix of likely, low pointers and unlikely high point predictions.
