I have become a lot more drowned in work lately, and it is very likely that that will continue to be the case for the next month or two, given the circumstances. In six weeks I have the final exams for my AS-level qualifications, and if I do not pass them well enough (or at all) it could seriously impact not only what I can study next year, but also whether or not I can get onto the university course I want, as well as what jobs I'll be able to get further on in life.
Long story short, these exams are a pretty big deal for me, and unless I spend a sizeable sum of money, I'll only get one shot at them. My workload at college has increased dramatically the last month or so, and it will very likely continue to do so right up to the exam period: this, along with my own revision efforts, will not afford me much time to myself, and therefore impact how often I will be able to write chapters for Guilty Hornet.
I will work on it whenever I can, but I need you all to understand that 'when I can' might not be all that often until exams are over and done with. I'm probably going to take a complete hiatus for the two-week exam period, but for the next six weeks I'll still be writing: my aim is to finish at least the rewrite of 4b as well as Chapter 5 before I take that time off, and hopefully make some headway into Chapter Six as well.
I hope to have the rewrite done by Sunday at the latest, but I won't make any estimates as to Chapter 5's ETA until I've written enough of it to get a feel for how long it'll take. On the bright side, on the other end of the exams I have a six week holiday in which I can write to my heart's content.
