Priorities

Life has a funny way of packing a whole bunch of stuff together and never letting up until I've burned through all the time I would have liked to spend writing the ending to my longest story.

Suffice it to say, I'm busy. Not only do I try and keep up with the Writeoff and all the cool ideas and writing work that brings, but now I'm also part of BABSCon staff, in addition to all the other things that my real job keeps throwing my way.

I'm going to try and push myself to finish Scion by the time the season five premiere hits. I'm not sure I can do it, but I'm going to work toward that goal for as long as I can afford to. Having a hard date in mind could actually be the catalyst I need to get things done. What that means is, I need to have the bulk of the writing done by early next week. That's going to be pushing it seeing as I have some major chapters left to write and not a whole lot of time left to write them. Should be interesting to see how it turns out. I don't plan on forcing out crap, so if I feel that's what's happening, I'll have to reconsider the plan. Less than a week out, I'm feeling a lot more confident than I should.
