I should probably mention that my favorite "philosopher," as it were, is the late George Carlin. (Inspired by my dad, who once said that his favorite "philosopher" was Jimmy Buffett.) So I was tickled to see this Derpy comic by DocWario over at deviantArt featured on Equestria Daily:
Why was I amused to see this strip, other than Derpy being Derpy, you ask, and what does it have to do with George Carlin? It's because the third panel reminds me of a bit from Carlin's "Airline Announcements" routine:
About this time, someone is telling you to get on the plane. "Get on the plane. Get on the plane." I say, "F*ck you, I'm getting IN the plane! IN the plane! Let Evel Knievel get ON the plane! I'll be in here with you folks in uniform! There seems to be less WIND in here!"
Yeah. Too bad ol' George never lived to hear about Derpy, eh?
