I've started work on a new project recently. It is going to be comprised of two stories following different characters in different time periods. The common bond that will tie them together is their enemy, a force of darkness with power over dreams and reality. The first part will be taking place more than a thousand years in the past, in the early part of Celestia and Luna's reign, before the conflicts with King Sombra and Nightmare Moon, even before the princesses were well known in their own dominion. It will focus on one character who is canonically mentioned in the show, and if you can't get it from that, I'm sorry, and three characters who will be pulled into the plot forcibly. The second story will be taking place in modern Equestria, and will be taking place shortly after the second Equestria Girls movie.
The style is third-pony limited and it has the spacing that everyone here bugged me about, that whole, skip a line between paragraphs thing. I personally can't stand it as it adds an unnecessary illusion of length to everything, but I see the point that it separates thoughts more visibly. There will be no transitions like there are in the revised chapter(s) KoF, as the each chapter is told by only one character. This will remove any confusion (hopefully, I might just suck at not confusing people) and make everything a teensy bit easier to follow.
As for a release date, I got nuthin'. I'm in the process of writing the fourth chapter, but I still have to run the third chapter by my proof readers (AKA three of my friends that I always hang out with). This will hopefully prevent my horrible confusion with certain words and consistently crappy keyboard (it chooses to ignore certain keys, mostly "Y" but also a few others). The chapter release schedule should look very similar to the schedule for KoF, being Saturdays and Wednesdays.
