…So I've been playing Puzzle and Dragons for (apparently) close to a year now. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you probably won't know what I'm talking about and should deem me insane, but that's probably the usual protocol.
Anyway, it wasn't until five or so months ago that I got my first Special God from a Godfest, one of the three Sonias. Funny thing is that I got the Dragon-oriented one, Wood Sonia. Not much to see here other than her, and the fact that I still question why they lump Wind/Plant/Earth into "Wood".
What is more questionable is that later, I rolled two more times and managed to get the Wood version of Zhuge Liang. That's two Godfest-exclusives in a single Godfest, and they're both Wood. So that's a little out of the ordinary…
Two months later, another Godfest rolls around, and it features some Japanese gods/goddesses I'd like to have. I pull the Wood version of Odin now. I'm starting to see a trend…
A month ago, I pulled yet again to try my hand at the Three Kingdoms Gods/Generals (I was looking at Lu Bu, in particular), and ended up getting… guess who? The Wood version that is Bearded Deity, Guan Yu. His beard is so majestic that it is literally part of his title.
Now there has to be a trend going on, especially considering that all I got from the Fist of the North Star collab were Shu and Juda, who are… the only two Wood-characters in that collab. All the game's given me is the Wood.
Yup.
…Anywho, fast forward to today, where another Japanese Godfest is happening and I'm really trying to obtain Ammy, who is sadly not a doggone goddess, but who I wanted a lot anyway. First off, I ended up pulling Belial, who isn't even featured in this Godfest (kinda like both of my Sun Wukongs that I have ._. ), and Light Courier, Fuu. Funny thing is that both of them actually chomp up Wood orbs to turn into other orbs, so I think the game was trying to send me yet another message.
Moving on, my gathering of Wood-based, Godfest-exclusive gods is nearly complete and just needs The Norn, Verdandi to complete it. I'd actually appreciate something else though, so… apparently, the game delivered.

…I received two Archangel Metatrons? How the heck am I supposed to use that second one, game? What is this madness you are feeding me that isn't Wood?
Since I don't know how to end this, I'll just say that this is the end and that you can feel free to question why on Earth I'm even blogging about this, when nobody's going to care.
To be fair, that's most blogs anyway.
