    Happy New Year 2017

To my friends, followers, and people who stumbled upon my page,

I wish you all a Happy New Year from Texas.

Not much to say about the up coming year, all I can hope from the world of fanfiction is that I can finish up my current Kantai Collection ideas and maybe do some more MLP.

Farewell to a friend · 10:30pm Mar 12th, 2015

To my friends, followers, and people who stumbled upon my page,

I know many other writers on this site, some of you included, have chimed in on this, but this morning read a message from BBC via MSNBC that long time writer Terry Pratchett has started his walk across the endless desert. All of us who are fans of him knew that this day was coming the moment he said that he will not let Alzheimer take him alive. He faced that disease with dignity and on his own terms.

He gave a wonderful world to explore and showed us that sometime we need to believe in something greater, that good men are not the be trifled with, bigotry will fall, Death as a constant companion isn't a bad thing, and that little old ladies can kick ass. He was the one who got me to read for fun back in Middle School.

Good bye Terry Pratchett may your journey across the desert be pleasant and swift.

Across a sea of burning sand
Walks a man known to all in his land
Embraced by the spirit of Death
He steps forth to draw a final breath

Brilliant, all the way to the end.
