I haven't made a blog in awhile. Let's fix that.

So a good friend of mine, FloydienSlip, has recently started an interesting YouTube channel called Songs Done Slow. What he does is take songs and slow them down to about one-third speed, and the results can be pretty entertaining, strange, and confounding by how well they sound.

Here's Separate Ways (Worlds Apart), by Journey:

And here's Barracuda, by Heart:

He seems to be uploading new songs every couple of days or so, so be sure to check them out. He's got a blog over here where you can recommend songs to be slowed down. Rock songs work best, but I bet Metal, Punk, and Pop could provide interesting results as well.

Was never much a fan of Barracuda (though I have a cover by someone or other that I like) but oh my god, that's almost Journey's best song. :D
