Just in case anyone was wondering why the weekly update schedule lapsed: certain possibly catastrophic problems with integral aspects of a particular plot thread are being addressed.

I haven't stopped writing, far from it, and am busy cooking up a meaty chapter of unparalled size. Its tumescent largeness cannot be overstated. I warn you now: its girth, breadth, scope and overwhelming, galaxy-dwarfing bigness may prove too much for those of weak constitution. I advise anyone with a heart condition, or who is prone to seizures, to consult with their physician before even opening the chapter, when it finally lands.

I'd also like to take this moment to blame my editor/fellow traveller, Lunatic-Scientist, for infecting me with an incurable case of equine mania, the result of which has been a large drain on the time I have to write about silly horses doing silly horse things.
