I am apologizing for getting some of your hopes up when I said the upcoming Laz. chapter is nearly finished. Unfortunately I have been needing to put the story itself on hold due to school and overall stress (because of school). For the last couple of weeks I have been playing catchup because of a nation wide competition I have participating in. Those of you who are wondering I am participating in BPA (Business Professionals of America) for possible scholarship opportunities, also is it'd really look good on a resume. Already my partner and I have won first place in the regional competition and are now moving onto round 2.
But I digress. With the competition taking up most of my valuable time, it's nice to say that the state portion of it is coming up. I do not have high hopes my partner and I will make it, but we will not let that thought bring us down. However, in terms of school I have finally caught up with the rest of my classes and I now have more free time.
In that case, I have recently added another 2K plus words to Lazarus, and I'll let you all know that the upcoming chapter is once again over 10K 
. Funny thing is there are still a few more scenes I'm planning on writing.
Now, hold on. For those of you who do not like reading big chapters keep in mind this is before the editing phase. Knowing some of my editors they may spot some scenes that are nothing but filler and are unneeded. So if my esitmations are correct, the ending result shoud be nothing more than 11K+
Still a big number I know, but far better then what I'm ending with.
As for my editors who reads these. I'm sorry that I'm going to be putting a lot of work on your shoulders.
In other news: I have a new Star Swirl chapter brewing in the back of my mind. Hopefully I'll be able to share my thoughts with you lovely people after I finished chapter 12.
In completely unrelated news, I've been applying to a few jobs recently. Got rejected by Papa Johns (which honestly I don't mind, their pizza is shit) it's hard trying to get a job in the city, some much competition.
I also downloaded a freaking awesome mod for my game Xenonauts. It's called X-Division and when playing said mod, a lot of the mechanics reminds me of the original UFO: Enemy Unknown.

Great job on that competition! I'll be sure to get to editing as soon as my own schooling responsibilities clear out. Damn education and its being worth pursuing.
At least you're writing. I bought Epic Battle Fantasy 4 on Steam and haven't put it down in at least a week.
