On Tuesday, January 21, 2014, I sat down at this machine, and started a new story. As I ranted about before, I don't see Derpy as an imbecile. And way back then, I decided to do something about it...
Today, just now meeting approval, is "Derpy Meets the Doctor"...my answer to "Derpy is a dummy..."
It took a very long time. Job, medical problems, lack of free time...all the problems we all have. But I stayed at it. I didn't give up on the grey mailmare. She needed her story told. She was depending on me.
Derpy, this one is for you...
This is set at the time of Season Four, just before "Rainbow Falls"...Twi hasn't done her "Dragonball Z" impression against Tirek yet, The Games haven't been held, and, just like me and my Brony friends did when "Rainbow Falls" was aired, it was before everyone cheered "DERPY!!!" when she walked into Rainbow Dash's room and waved that Ponyville pennant. And its in before Season Five begins, and that "Episode #100" airs, which might change this thing completely. But, in the meantime, this is my tribute to her.
And yes, as I am wont to do, I have thrown a semi-trailer full of Giant Pandas everywhere in this story. And I still don't care; I like pandas in a story. I'm doing a crossover to begin with, so there's a panda right there. In for a penny, in for a pound, as our UK friends say.
