Give me an eternity, I'll give you an update!

It's not over, not unless you really want it to be.
So what if you missed an arbitrary self imposed deadline... there will always be next month, the month after that, or so on and so forth.

I miss every deadline.
Shit happens.
Its okay. I have been telling myself for over a year now that I am going to write a story. I still haven't done shit.

So do I, but I try not to dwell on it.
Edit: Stressing out about not writing, only makes it all the harder to try and even focus on writing in the first place.

Still faster than gravekeeper.
And hey, we're all still here! I wouldn't worry too much. Self imposed deadlines never work, and I am reasonably sure everyone here has patience to spare.

Heya there,
You don't have to worry! I've been following that series ever since I found it, and I've been patiently waiting for the update. No rush, my good man!
You have lots of time to work on it, don't let a pesky deadline pressure ya . I'm sure you have all the capabilities of updating it :3
Hope that you feel better
The moment you start writing for the fans is when you stop writing for your enjoyment.
You need to write when you want to write and not worry about us. When it comes it comes. Life isn't easy, and in a government job it's downright insane...let yourself settle, write when you want and when you feel you are ready to share it do it.
These words of wisdom brought to you by someone who still hasn't finished his own stories.
Eh...deadlines are for the real world. Fanfiction can always afford to wait a little longer.
Take all the time you need to get things done, IAH. We're happy to wait.

Seriously, this is a thing you do for fun. Take your time and enjoy it.
l;el....
I personally draw the line on lying as willful disinformation. For instance, telling someone some dress you saw online was blue and black when you know, for a fact, that it's gold and white? Lying. Telling someone one thing that you honestly think is true, only to later find you're wrong? I don't consider that lying.
Don't worry about it. I look forward to moar, but take the time you need. Don't need to stress over arbitrary deadlines.

If so, they're lying.
